Exercise Planner

Key Role:

Assist a Combatant Commander's staff with designing, planning, and coordinating Information Operations (IO) and Cyber exercises, experimentation, and other events to increase the COCOM's confidence in non-kinetic IO tools with specific emphasis on offensive and defensive Cyberspace operations. Design network technical solutions for Joint clients to meet their objectives for training, test, evaluation, or experimentation. Coordinate with Joint sites and their associated network service providers for Joint connectivity. Participate in applicable teleconferences, VTCs, and other virtual meetings, as required. Develop and present Joint briefings to current and potential clients. Participate and represent the client in initial, mid-term, and final planning conferences for exercises that require their support.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with exercise planning in Cyberspace operations or computer network operations

-Experience with operational planning and supporting COCOM, service component, or service exercises, tests, or experiments

-Experience with Cyber planning and technical operations

-Ability to design networks

-TS/SCI clearance

-HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualification

-Network+ or Security+ Certification
