Duties: Develop various application components. Collaborate to participate in all stages of applications development process, including design, implementation, testing, and production support. Participate in project planning sessions and analyze business IT requirements. Define and design user-interface scope for each sprint. Analyze, design, and deploy systems strategy. Perform both front-end and back-end application development. Monitor the evaluation, analysis, and modification of existing application models, programs, and systems as user requirements and equipment configurations change. Perform production support in a maintenance environment. Develop, implement, and maintain back-office operations systems. Responsible for business process analysis, software testing, and technical writing and documentation.
Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field of study plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience as Software/Application Developer or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires three (3) years of experience with the following skills: front-end development using xHTML, CSS, Java Scripts (ECMAScript 6), AngularJS version 1.5+, and ReactJS; developing components to support Fixed Income (FX) trade processing and accounting modules including sub ledger and profit and loss (P&L) components; regulatory reporting, compliance, and portfolio management applications; object-oriented (OO) analysis and design; Java 1.7; Java 1.8; J2SE; Spring Framework; Spring Boot; Hibernate 4; MyBatis 3; JTA; Web Services; TDD; XML technologies and parsers such as JAXB or JiBX; Oracle including stored procedures, tuning SQL statements, and writing indexes; and multi-threaded systems.
