KYC Solutions in the Commercial Bank CAO is a firm-wide utility supporting all Lines of Business in the completion of requirements to satisfy the firm’s Know Your Customer (KYC) standards. We partner with Global Financial Crimes Compliance, all JPMorgan Lines of Business and their KYC Officers and Client Owners and other utilities such as Client List Screening and Client Reference Data Operations to support and maintain the integrity of our Client KYC information.
The KYC Solutions team is seeking a Senior Project Analyst to support the Holistic Client Due Diligence Program. This multi-year program is responsible for developing and implementing a scalable and sustainable Operating Model and Technology platform to enable a holistic view of JPMorgan higher risk clients, and ensure that client information is managed consistently across the Lines of Business globally.
The candidate will work with the Project Managers and be responsible for leading and co-ordinating specific project activities that underpin the Program’s Execution, Governance and Control and maintaining key project artefacts in the process
Project interaction will include a range of day to day delivery meetings with the core project team(s) including Global Financial Crimes Compliance, Client Reference Data Utility, KYC Utility, Lines of Businesses and Technology Groups. The candidate’s role will include:
Planning and executing project deliverables
Requirements and Problem Analysis
Risk & Issue tracking
Managing regular readiness and health checks
Crafting core team and executive communications and critical updates
Preparing material for critical project meetings, logging the meeting output and ensuring associated actions are tracked through to resolution.
Managing cross LOB tasks
Background and experience in general Project Management and Business Analysis skills are a pre-requisite for this role, as is the ability to face off to senior stakeholders with solid communication skills key. An understanding of KYC and the associated KYC systems would be a distinct advantage.
Liaise with business and project stakeholders, key business users and subject matter experts to understand scope and help to prioritise business requirements across impacted areas.
Lead/Participate in meetings, at the operational and project level, providing continuous feedback on item status; ensure information is shared and issues addressed; always focusing on ensuring work tracks to original expectations.
Produce and maintain project and test plans and other associated documentation.
Function as an escalation point to keep all parties aware of overall project impact, facilitating management decisions at the earliest opportunity. Also, recognizing key issues and risks and facilitating teams to solution or escalate to senior management.
Supporting business units in the development and execution of their plans for a successful implementation.
Participate in workshops and presentations where required.
Track key issues and risks; provide transparency to management and business partners.
Collaborate with business owners and Technology/delivery workstreams to ensure clear communication of objectives and requirements.
Actively identify opportunities to improve and streamline the Governance and Control activities and then drive through changes to implement those changes.
Perform essential administrative duties include meeting set up and minute taking.
A good grounding in general Project Management skills evidenced by previous project work.
A good understanding of project requirements, project delivery process, testing success factors, and implementation guidelines.
Experience interacting directly with business stakeholders and end users - strong verbal and written communication skills; strong meeting facilitation skills.
Ability to be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize and prioritise work.
Result oriented attitude with a track record of high quality deliverables.
Ability to adapt tools and processes to project needs and changing expectations.
Strong team building skills – must enjoy working as part of a hardworking and close knit team.
Experienced in the use of Microsoft Power Point.
Experienced in the use of SharePoint.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, professional certification or equivalent work experience.
A good understanding of KYC processes and the associated KYC Systems Application Flows would be a major advantage.
