Our Consumer & Community Banking Group depends on innovators like you to serve nearly 66 million consumers and over 4 million small businesses, municipalities and non-profits. You’ll support the delivery of award winning tools and services that cover everything from personal and small business banking as well as lending, mortgages, credit cards, payments, auto finance and investment advice. Within Consumer and Community Banking, the Digital IT team is responsible for setting and executing strategies that align with business objectives and drive innovation across Chase Online and Mobile, helping to establish the best Digital banking customer experience in the industry.
We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Project Manager to play an active role in helping to define and execute our product roadmap. This role will work closely with a cross-functional team, including product, technology, strategy, marketing, legal, risk and controls with a primary focus on the data aggregation and API banking space.
A successful candidate will be passionate about delivering great customer experiences, managing a strong risk and controls environment, have a strong understanding of the underlying technology, as well as trends in Fintech, digital banking and data aggregation. This position will provide a unique opportunity to work with a number of Fintech companies while developing and bringing to market solutions for our banking customers.
Develop project plans and execution approaches for a number of initiatives that are defined by client requirements and specifications.
Partner with Product and work with Fintech and data aggregation companies to develop and execute on initiatives and operationalize processes and procedures
Work with other cross-functional managers and scrum teams to assist with delivery of the Digital platform releases.
Monitor ongoing projects to evaluate progress and take action if any issues arise.
See projects to completion within terms of SLA
Bachelor degree, specialized training or equivalent work experience
Demonstrated and strong overall experience of combined business, project management, team leadership and IT
Experience managing projects in multiple areas of technologies, functions (e.g. transaction management, risk management etc.) and industries
Knowledge of Agile Methodologies and Standards
Previous experience in strategic and tactical initiatives: Ability to identify problems and propose solutions
Exceptional critical thinking, analytical, and organizational skills, including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
Ability to directly address conflicts and escalate issues where appropriate
Strong communication skills – verbal, written and technical (e.g., creating PowerPoint presentations). Ability to present concise, direct and timely communications to executives, management and key partners; strong presentation skills is essential
Proactive experience in problem solving, owning issues and having the determination to follow tasks/issues through
Excellent prioritization and time management
Work independently as well as part of a team
Absorb and present complex ideas quickly and accurately
Ability to shift perspective from high level 'big picture' to low-level detail

Project Management Certification a plus
