Marquee Product – Strategic Marketing Lead

The Strategic Marketing Lead will be a senior member of the Marquee product/sales team. The candidate will work closely with teams across the entire organization including leadership, sales, product, and technology. The role demands a breadth of experience and insight into the full marketing communications spectrum, with the ability to tailor unique solutions and generate out-of-the-box ideas.

The role has a global mandate and therefore offers the opportunity to showcase existing and new capabilities through working with our offices, management teams, and/or partners around the world. RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

Responsibilities

This person will primarily be responsible for developing and driving marketing campaigns and initiatives supporting the growth of specific business lines, revenue opportunities, and products/services. This includes:

  • Working with product and business units, to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns that address challenges and/or capitalize on opportunities to drive revenue/growth

  • Managing the marketing process—and be the day-to-day marketing contact—for specific business units and/or product service lines

  • Leading creative and idea brainstorming sessions for the brand, for the broader team’s goals, or for specific campaign ideas

  • Creating marketing material covering online, print, video and social campaigns

  • Managing and tracking budgets for campaigns and performance of marketing initiatives against defined success metrics

  • Keeping up-to-date on the latest in digital and social marketing, marketing measurement, research, and the broader industry

  • Managing suppliers and agencies as required

  • Building a strong internal and external network of contacts

  • Be a brand ambassador, both internally and externally

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 5 – 10 years’ marketing and communications experience—B2B preferred

  • Global experience highly regarded

  • Bank, trading, finance and/or Equity Capital industry experience preferred

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field; Master’s degree or higher highly regarded

Knowledge/Skills

  • Ability to think strategically and develop high-impact marketing campaigns

  • Experience creating and executing innovative marketing projects

  • Experience in developing and implementing marketing communications plans, including sign-offs and record keeping for compliance

  • Experience briefing and managing external resources, including agencies

  • Experience running internal brainstorming/feedback sessions

  • Strong written and oral communication skills a must, including the ability to write copy for a variety of marketing communications tactics

  • Knowledge of, and experience in managing, the print production process

  • Leadership skills, ambition, and an entrepreneurial approach to work highly regarded

  • High proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

  • Ability to develop compelling sales initiatives and collateral

  • Proven track record of launching new products/services in new markets

  • Good cross-cultural expertise to effectively interface with multiple departments in Europe, US and Asia- Pacific

  • Strong project management experience
