Our Global Banking & Markets division serves mid- to large-sized companies, corporations and institutions. It's comprised of Business Banking, Global Commercial Banking, Global Corporate & Investment Banking and Global Markets. Aligned with these client-facing groups are Global Capital Markets, Global Research, Global Transaction Services and Wholesale Credit.

This position will help to support cross-platform initiatives for Global Banking & Markets (Bank of America Merrill Lynch) specifically focusing on marketing analytics and measurement needs:

  • Help deliver data and insights to be used in driving complex marketing decisions or strategies

  • Work directly with LOB partners and marketing managers to understand business/marketing challenges to be analyzed and deliver the appropriate learnings and data required

  • Understand annual learning agenda and work with team to finalize plan, assist with methodology where needed, bring in other teams and work to tie measurement to goals

  • Work on tactics to help source/uncover potential “leads” for LOB partners leveraging existing data sources (DemandBase, Google Analytics, Event data, etc.)

  • Work with digital team to help marketing team manage and leverage data and reporting for their programs across all channels (owned, paid & earned)

  • Help source ideas for macro topics/themes based on what’s resonating amongst existing content/programming

  • Comb through data for segment insights, best practices and channel/tactic improvements or refinements

  • 3-5+ years of marketing analytics experience, preferably B2B and/or financial services. Bachelors Degree in finance, math/statistics, or computer science a plus.

  • Must be able to mine data from multiple sources and find insights/ideas that align with business challenges and goals.

  • Must understand some insights on client segments and underlying client and prospect demographics, personas, buying behavior, communication routines, decision drivers and triggers, pressures, opportunities, growth potential.

  • Must be able to communicate and present analytical data in a plain spoken way
