The role of Marketing is to develop and execute data-driven strategies to effectively and efficiently understand our customer's needs and interests to increase brand awareness and generate high margin demand. The team enables client serving professionals to meet their short and long-term goals by providing creative and innovative application of deep marketing expertise in areas such as digital, B2B, data analytics, program management, media (including social), thought leadership, and brand.
Sector Marketing provides clients across all industry sectors (e.g. Consumer Markets, Financial Services, Health Industries, Technology) with points of view and suggested one-firm solutions to client issues that are specific to the world in which our clients work: their industry and company. The Sector Marketing Team advises sector leadership on marketing and other related strategies that address our clients' issues in innovative and interesting ways, creating an environment that drives sales, enhanced relationships and a stronger PwC brand.
Qualified candidates must have a proven track record in:
Being able to influence senior firm leaders
Gain a consensus across multiple practice leaders and stakeholders to affect change
Work with marketing peers to create alignment across multiple marketing teams
Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 10
Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or GED
Degree Preferred: Bachelor's degree
Demonstrates thought leader-level abilities with, and/or a proven record of success directing efforts in the following areas: -Deep understanding of marketing trends and channels that have increased demand generation and brand building at previous organizations; -Working with leadership as a business advisor to influence how the practice engages with the marketplace; -Leading a team successfully through cultural change and development of new skills/knowledge; -Saying no when necessary to all levels of the organization and ability to relate strategy to difficult decisions; -Developing and executing a data-driven, integrated marketing strategy to deliver results against strategic priorities that contribute to developing relationships, building pipeline and increasing brand equity; -Developing of marketing tactics across a wide variety of areas including: brand, digital and social marketing, public relations, analyst relations, thought leadership and sales tools, events, etc., and leading strategy to tie these initiatives together using customer journey principles and marketing automation; -Collaborating with subject matter specialists and leadership to develop messaging platforms and value propositions that are relevant and compelling; -Championing competitive and market research to understand client issues, marketing dynamics and competitive strategies; incorporating this information into marketing activities to drive high impact and differentiated programs; and, -Deep understanding of the Marketing and Sales function, including Sales, Marketing, Brand, and Thought Leadership, as well as a broad understanding of related client service offerings.
Demonstrates thought leader-level abilities with, and/or a proven record of success directing efforts in the following areas: -Creating leading-edge marketing programs; leveraging the latest marketing technologies to deliver an improved client experience
- e.g. social listening, analytics, etc.; -Evaluating, analyzing and interpreting voice of the customer and market research information from a variety of sources and applying learning to drive marketing strategy; -Completing marketing impact reports including both a quantitative and qualitative analysis on how marketing programs contribute to impact on client relationships, the sales pipeline and brand awareness/equity; -Leading and coaching multiple marketing Directors and their staff through complex situations while applying firm policies and procedures and enabling compliance across the network; -Working across multiple communications platforms, including social media, video and digital; -Building and maintaining relationships with highest levels of leadership, including effectively managing through a matrixed organization; -Utilizing excellent verbal communication, writing, and strategy skills, translating complex concepts into easy-to-understand and compelling messages to support a point of view to leadership that results in innovative marketing approaches; -Developing marketing strategies and plans that deliver positive results in brand awareness and revenue growth; -Assessing marketing needs to allocate a multi-million dollar budget across multiple business units; and, -Influencing senior leadership in order to increase effectiveness of marketing activities thus driving revenue and strengthening brand in the marketplace.
