Core Business Operations
The US Core Business Operations Portfolio supports design, implementation, and operation of "heart of the business" transactional systems and core operations, including process redesign, large program management, systems integration, and cloud engineering.
Work you ll do
As a Manager, you will lead and deliver small or components of large, complex client engagements that identify, design, and implement creative business and technology solutions for large companies. Manager level responsibilities include: providing service excellence by identifying key client business issues, determining client needs by supplementing the standard assessment techniques and tools with innovative approaches, evaluating and validating analysis and developing recommendations for the client in the context of the overall engagement. You will be expected to implement and oversee the quality of deliverables and effectively manage the team and day-to-day relationships to ensure exceptional performance. Managers participate in the development and presentation of proposals for business development activities.

As a Senior Manager, you will lead large complex engagements. These challenges encompass everything from:
Engagement Management: Lead engagement planning and budgeting; mobilize and manage engagement teams; define deliverable structure and content.
Client Management: Manage day to day interactions with executive clients and sponsors.
Business Development: Develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients; organize and lead pursuit teams; participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process.
Practice Development & Eminence: Develop practical solutions and methodologies; develop "thought-ware" and "point-of-view" documents; participate in public speaking events; get published in industry periodicals.
People Development: Perform role of counselor and coach; provide input and guidance into the staffing process; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities.
Helping clients increase revenues, decrease costs, accelerate cash flow, and improve margin and operational workflows.
10 years of relevant experience in lead-to-cash business capability design & prioritization, requirements management and future state process design. Cloud-based billing systems experience a must.
At least five years of experience leading business requirements definition in a cross-functional environment, taking input from critical enterprise functions such as sales, quoting, order management, service provisioning, subscription billing, and revenue recognition
Prior experience in defining and/or launching new subscription offers including defining business capabilities road-map, developing process flow diagrams, coordinating with solution delivery teams to clarify business needs and executing business readiness activities
Good understanding of flexible consumption models such as subscriptions, pay-as-you-go, usage-based and their role in innovative go-to-market approaches and new revenue models
Must have experience successfully leading complex engagements and teams, throughout the entire project lifecycle, with team sizes ranging from 5-10 resources
At least five years of experience contributing to the development and presentation of client proposals
A willingness to travel 80 - 100% of the time (Monday Thursday/Friday)
Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint)
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
Eagerness to mentor junior staff
An advanced degree in the area of specialization is preferred
