Role and Responsibilities
J.P. Morgan ACCESS Product Management is seeking a talented candidate to lead and drive product integration strategy. This individual will work closely with global TS Product Managers, Implementation/Service, Operations, and technology teams to successfully integrate new Product capabilities into the ACCESS Platform. J.P. Morgan ACCESS® is the top-ranking cash management application which serves thousands of corporate clients spanning across all regions. As an ACCESS Product Manager, you will be defining and executing on the strategy that helps J.P. Morgan increase its market leadership position and simplifies our client experience.
The successful candidate for this role is a leader who has in-depth knowledge of Treasury Services Products with a strong ability to manage and deliver global large scale solutions in a dynamic environment. We are looking for a strategic, results-oriented leader with extensive direct client interaction that can use their customer insight to guide the organization to new opportunities. Our ideal candidate is a structured, highly-organized individual with advanced abilities in communicating across global Senior Executives, Product, and Technology partners with strong influencing / relationship management skills.
Responsible for product integration strategy, roadmap prioritization, and definition of key program initiatives that meet bank and client needs
Ability to define product value propositions and execute marketing plans in support of multiple platforms
Develop robust model and detailed analysis to help drive new product development, concept validation, market analysis, and validation of data to support future business initiatives
Engage key business resources to understand existing processes, challenges and issues
Champion product initiatives through client and market insight in order to influence decision makers
Gather client feedback, user research, on-boarding/implementation requirements, and system data needed to support new product integration and identify legal/documentation impacts
Understand, simplify, and document business requirements, workflows, and define reference documents to support product integration
Responsible for ensuring that the integrating product business requirements meet the strategic direction of the ACCESS platform are clearly understood by the core product and technology teams
Provide guidance and direction to the various product and technology teams for product integration related issues
Foster an environment where issues are evaluated, escalated and resolved
Demonstrate superior judgment to mitigate risk; adhere to and enforce global regulations and bank compliance mandates
Manage pre- and post-release expectations
Direct cross-organizational program teams through product lifecycle from conception to execution, including executive approval and demand management processes
Identify product dependencies, gaps, key issues and present recommendations for resolution
Define process improvements and deliver product capabilities that improve client experience and deliver value to the firm
Communicate effectively across all levels of stakeholders including senior management
Guide clients to the adoption of new business initiatives that meet or exceed industry standards
Minimum BS or equivalent level of education/experience required
At least 10 years of experience in product or product-related functions, including product development and marketing
Strong experience in delivering end to end global and regional solutions
Possesses knowledge of cash management, securities, and other Treasury Services, particularly for wholesale client and product base, is highly desirable. This may include commercial banking, treasury, and/or investment banking activities
Experience in authoring executive summaries and presenting to management
Experience with developing business requirements, process flows, use cases and deliverables/documents
Understanding of systems development methodologies. Ability to work with other business and technology resources, subject matter experts, user interface design, and other groups involved in implementing a successful technology solution
