The Global Digital Channels team is responsible for product management and sales support of global Treasury Service client facing platforms including J.P. Morgan Access, Host to Host, PayConnexion, Receivables Online, Chase Quick Pay, and regional local channels EBICS, Russia Online, Saudi, FSI, Virtual Branch, Brazil Online.
The Digital Channels Product Management team has global responsibility for these client facing channels including strategy, product management, sales support, project delivery, fulfillment and client support.
The Product Manager is part of a product organization responsible for tactical and strategic initiatives that will optimize the client experience and extend market leadership of J.P. Morgan Access® Online and Host to Host.
The ideal candidate will be innovative and forward thinking with experience in defining and introducing features based on direct client feedback, emerging trends and market analysis. The candidate will have demonstrated success across the full product lifecycle from pre-concept, through development to launch and ongoing management. Experience in treasury functions including online and electronic channels and various services offered by Access® and Host to Host would be a strong asset in this position.
Lead client research efforts resulting in a customer first focus user experience
Define feature requirements for new client capabilities with input from regional (Asia, Europe/Middle East, Latin America and North America), facilitate requirements workshops
Partner in the development of features including participation in agile software development sessions, “Scrum” calls with development teams
Document decisions, actions with regional product management leads
Host-to-Host product expert in global standard payment and reporting formats (ISO, BAI2, MT, EDI X12)
Product owner of standard formats - ISO, MT 940 and client facing materials (e.g. user guides, sample files)
Develop “Job Aids” and Policies & Procedures used by implementation teams to onboard clients
Support sales with marketing, RFP responses and tools used to demonstrate functionality of Access®
Compile monthly executive business reports, including definition and maintenance of KPI’s
Execute special projects such as market analysis, feature usage
Assist in developing strategic direction, product roadmaps
Knowledge & Skills Requirements
Minimum Experience and Education:
Bachelor degree is required, graduate degree in a relevant field is preferred
5-7 years of experience as a product or business analyst with additional experience in one or more of the following areas as a plus: consulting, sales, operations management, or technology.
Requirements definition and documentation
Software development lifecycle with a preference to agile
Knowledge of cash management and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) concepts including the following messaging standards: ISO20022, ANSI/X12, EDIFACT, SAP IDOC, SWIFT
Knowledge of one or more of the following ERP systems: SAP, Oracle, Infor, Workday is desirable
Exceptional communication skills, with demonstrated ability to author presentations/ reports, lead presentations, and deliver information to an executive audience.
Strong interpersonal skills, e.g., meeting facilitation, capable of traversing across multiple disciplines including stakeholders, product, operations and technical resources.
Demonstrated track record of success in matrixed environment, including influencing across multiple organizations, and leading “virtual” teams to achieve results.
Previous experience working on multi-disciplinary project teams.
