What is the role?

You are a Front end engineer and UX developer who will work with the product team to bring ideas to life and to help create rapid proto-types for validation of concepts. You will be involved in creating widgets and other solutions that are built on top of APIs and also help rapid proto-type new connectivity options for our core platform to connect with 3 rd party technologies like ERPs.

Skills we are seeking:

  • Technical expertise in the past in building prototypes and pilot solutions

  • Familiarity with design tools like Invision, Framer, UXPIN and other proto typing skills is a strong plus

  • Hands on experience in building solutions with Javascript, HTML, CSS

  • A track record demonstrating a high level of personal initiative, setting and executing challenging goals, and demonstrating an agile mindset

  • A bias towards action and focusing on delivering client solutions at all times

  • Strong project management, analytical, detail-oriented, problem solving, and communication skills with both internal and external partners

  • Passion for creatively solving problems and an entrepreneurial spirit

In addition, we expect that you will bring the following traits to our innovative team:

  • Holistically understand core business problems and requirements from clients in order to deliver efficient and useful solutions

  • Work with the team to influence and execute the API roadmap

  • Help identify solutions and integration opportunities

  • Adopt an agile mindset to oversee the team's product development efforts, ensuring the final product is functional, operational, and meets design and feature specifications

  • Define and consistently measure quantifiable success metrics of products

Professional experiences (5+ years) that will set you apart:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field is preferred

  • 5+ years of software development experience, with preference for full-stack experience

  • Experience within the financial services sector, specifically financial transaction systems experience

  • Past experience with developing both public and private APIs that serve high traffic websites and/or apps

  • Superior project management skills with a strong attention to detail

  • Experienced software development disciplines-including business modeling, requirements management, component-based development, data engineering, configuration and change management, and testing-into a consistent framework covering the full lifecycle

  • Experience in Agile and Iterative development methodologies

  • Knowledge of Treasury Services products (Payments, Receivables, Liquidity, FX, Channels, Analytics), helpful but not required

  • Knowledge of emerging technologies as well as exposure to design-based thinking

We are a nimble and completely new open banking team within the Treasury Services business at J.P. Morgan. We are entrepreneurs, product developers and strategists with a penchant for action and experimentation and a passion for solving client challenges and adopting new technologies.
