Federal Reserve Bank Business Analyst/Project Management Associate - Applied Strategy - Data and Statistics in New York City, New York
The Data and Statistics Function manages the collection of financial and bank structure data from domestic and foreign depository institutions, capital market participants, and bank holding companies. These data are used regularly in the implementation of monetary and foreign exchange policy, the construction of the monetary aggregates, bank supervision and compliance monitoring, and monitoring of domestic and international markets tracking. This Function serves as the front line to respondent institutions, engaging with them on a regular basis towards the provision of fit-for-purpose data.
The Project Manager will be responsible for managing projects supporting the evolution of the Data & Statistics through the effective integration of technology, functional optimization, role and incentive design, and staff training. Through this strategy the function aims to optimize and standardize Statistics tools and interfaces, making data science capabilities available across the function, and providing new capabilities that promote effective relationship management and information sharing.*Principal Duties and Responsibilities:*
Support a project team from project inception through completion for coordinating various aspects of projects including planning and programming, project delivery ways and means, the procurement of professional services, review of contracts, schedules, specifications and estimating and tracking costs, and assessing team performance
Coordinates and reviews the project scope with appropriate personnel throughout the process, with a focus on providing an early awareness of upcoming modifications
Supports procurement of professional services required for the project
Supports project team performance to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
Supports administration of quality controls for the projects, including regulatory compliance, and plans and controls schedules
Assists in the development and maintenance of monthly departmental and divisional capital and expense budgets
Maintains Program and Project Management methodologies and provides guidance and coaching to project teams on the use of the methodologies, tools and techniques including scheduling, resource allocation and project cost accounting software
Ensures that the Project Management tools and systems are operational and meeting user performance expectations
Ensures the integrity and completeness of all data captured through project management tools

Working Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and SDLC
PMP certified preferred
Knowledge of project management applications such as CA Clarity & Microsoft Project, a plus.
Strong working knowledge of Jira preferred
Project Management experience in a Consulting Organization, Data Management, or Banking Operations is required
Master’s degree in business or IT related field with relevant work experience in project management, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Excellent organizational and self-management skills
Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and facilitation skills
Minimum of three to five years of relevant experience.
