Lockheed Martin Sales Rep/ Trade Ally Outreach - Energy Efficiency or Utilities Field / Nashville, TN in Nashville, Tennessee
Description: Lockheed Martin is seeking an experienced outreach/sales professional for a large energy efficiency program. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting contractor network outreach activities to create demand and maximize energy savings in the commercial and industrial marketplace. The candidate should have a strong sales and marketing background and excellent time and project management skills including the ability to monitor key performance indicators. The candidate will be responsible for generating new business by prospecting, conducting market analysis and leveraging existing relationships.
Experience in the energy efficiency field with specific technical knowledge related to the sales, manufacture, distribution and/or installation of energy efficiency products and services. Knowledge and experience with utility sponsored energy efficiency programs is preferred; Self driven team player with passion for energy efficiency solutions; Excellent communication skills (oral and written);Demonstrated experience with field-based activities and ability to work remotely; and Demonstrated good working knowledge of MS Office tools i.e., Outlook, Excel, Word, and database.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Lead the marketing and outreach activities to promote energy efficiency through the management of a trade ally network.
o Develop and implement strategies that will increase the penetration of high efficiency technologies in the market via the trade ally network.
o Create, evolve and educate on protocols to help trade allies and customers adhere to utility energy efficiency program requirements
o Develop and implement tools and training resources for trade allies to promote the sale of energy efficient equipment
o Support the trade ally network on all inquiries of either a technical or programmatic nature.
o Collaborate with local program management, engineering, marketing, and outreach functional teams to deploy Trade Ally Network strategy.
Experienced sales professional; experience with equipment sales/manufacturing/distribution; experience preparing/giving technical presentation and trainings; ability to work independently and remotely
