A new positon has arisen for a Business Development professional who has experience in the learning and development domain, to focus on growing this new and exciting business within EY.
Your key responsibilities
As a Senior in the team, you will oversee implementation of a focused sales and marketing effort in the assigned location within the learning and development industry. The objective will be to identify, anticipate and satisfy client needs on an on-going basis, to grow strong relationships so that we are the supplier of choice for all training needs for our corporate clients and to embed ourselves in their recurring training calendars. To achieve this, you need to ensure that we offer solutions that maximize the value to our client. This is a pre-requisite for growth and sustained client loyalty. You will work heavily with the Head of Training and Location Markets Leader to achieve this.
Specifically, you will establish relationships with key existing and potential clients through use of all resources available, maintaining close client contact through use of a CRM system including regular personal interactions. You will ensure our clients have every opportunity to purchase from us through regular updates on courses and e-mail shots informing them of regional developments via a state-of-the-art website, which appropriately reflects all of our offers and credentials.
In addition, you will ensure that the solutions we provide, precisely address the need in a measurable way wherever possible, ideally an ROI. A similar approach applies to professional exam based training; that is, to identify potential clients through attendees at open courses and develop those relationships as described above. The primary clients to target first will be agreed with local executives.

To qualify for the role you must have
· Abachelor's degree in Finance / Accounting / Marketing
· At least 3 – years of experience working with a training provider, focusing on business development
· Strong advisory (selling) mindset
· Strong technical skills and recognized cautious risk management ability
· Strong team working skills with the ability to work with different people from diverse backgrounds in the diverse FAAS team
· Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills
· Ability and comfort level in researching client inquires and emerging issues, including regulations, industry practices and new technologies
· Flexibility and willingness to travel on short notice, as necessary
Ideally you’ll also have
· Masters or MBA qualification
· Track record with a leading audit firm
· Proficiency in the Arabic language
