Perform as an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) for the Rotary and Mission Systems collateral classified information systems using information security procedures for the operation of multiple networked and standalone computers that ensure program information confidentiality, integrity, and availability. Ensure systems processing classified or sensitive information in support of multiple classified information systems are operated, maintained, and disposed of in accordance with security policies and procedures as outlined in the system security profile. Implement and perform Information System security procedures, conforming to Risk Management Framework and various government standards such as National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), and National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM). Contribute to generation of security plans in accordance with company and government standards. Under guidance from the ISSM and management, collaborate with other business unit and corporate staff in Security, IT, and line business organizations to develop and implement efficient and appropriate technology, user training, processes, procedures, and compliance methods that are integrated seamlessly with day-to-day operations of IT infrastructure. Work with peers in Security to develop, coordinate, publish, and maintain a common body of training materials, standards, directives, policies and procedures to enhance the local security program. Perform day-to-day operations, such as user education in cyber-security areas, account provisioning, review of audit logs, continuous monitoring, perform compliance scans using various software tools for IT systems. Build strong relationships within the Security organization and IT staff to hone best practices and drive consistency. Train and consult with system users who accomplish day-to-day tasks involved with administering and operating classified information systems. Support implementation of cyber-security measures in accordance with facility procedures pertaining to administrative, operational, physical and personnel controls. Ensure all users have the requisite security clearances, authorization, need-to-know, IT certifications, and functional training in security responsibilities commensurate with their role before granting access to systems. Coordinate any changes or modifications to hardware, software, or firmware of a system with the ISSM, to include assessing potential impact on the existing or planned authorization. Ensure all system security-related documentation is current and accessible to properly authorized individuals; Accomplish regular review of audit logs, investigating and reporting to the ISSM any discovered anomalies or incidents. Perform compliance audits, participate in incident handling and assist with investigations into security anomalies. The ISSO shall assume minimal ISSM responsibilities in the absence of the ISSM. Support the ISSM with assessment and authorization tasks. Regularly work extended or weekend hours (other than normal business hours) to support contractual requirements to meet customer needs. Business travel will be required to support operation of systems at facilities outside the campus at Moorestown, NJ. Flexible work hours include occasionally working off-hours and weekends to support special events. Assist the ISSM in meeting their duties and responsibilities. On occasion, work extended hours (other than normal business hours) to support contractual requirements to meet customer needs. Accomplish other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications Demonstrated “customer service” skills, ability to use common desktop applications (e.g. MS Office), attention to detail, above average interpersonal communication skills, ability to multi-task. Experience with RMF package creation and/or completion of CDSE RMF training course.

Desired skills Ability to work effectively with others, establishing or following common processes and procedures, demonstrating creativity and contributions to a larger organization. Familiarity with Defense Security Service (DSS), 800 Series NIST, NISPOM, US Department of Defense Cybersecurity, Information Security or Information Assurance compliance programs; Communications Security (COMSEC) procedures and applications; familiarity with government classified network connected enclaves such as SIPRNET, JWICS, CWAN, MDACnet, SDREN. Experience with administrative methods and security-type tasks, such as ISSO tasks listed in the Job Description section. Functional skills at the “power user” level with Unix (Sun, HP, Linux) and Windows Operating systems. CompTIA Security+CE or similar technical certifications.
