Title: Manager, Communications - 49428
As a Manager, Communications for John Deere in Moline, IL, you will work with upper-management leaders and other stakeholders to develop and deploy external and internal communication campaigns for strategic enterprise initiatives. Initiatives may include reputation efforts in the areas of citizenship, sustainability, and company purpose and heritage. In this role, you will:
Develop and execute global strategic communication plans for both internal and external audiences.
Gain buy-in for those plans and secure resources.
Lead team (Deere employees, contingent employees, and external agencies and resources) during the execution and deployment of tactics.
Oversee quality of tactics being deployed.
Provide Deere leadership team with communication counsel and support based on their needs and business priorities.
Collaborate globally with peers and colleagues in Global Business & Employee Communications to optimize the impact and value of collective communication activities.

What Skills You Need
7 or more years of experience as a business writer, journalist, copywriter, or similar where you created compelling messages that informed and inspired your audiences
7 or years of experience creating, managing and measuring multimedia strategic communication plans
7 or years of project or campaign-management experience
Proven ability to develop compelling mainstream communications on complex topics such as company strategy and financial performance, citizenship and sustainability, and equipment and manufacturing technology
Ability to travel domestically and/or internationally up to 25%

Education (or equivalent work experience)
- Bachelor's degree in a Communications/Journalism discipline or in a Business/Management discipline
