What you’ll be doing...

As a Business Innovation Partner, you will help key customers visualize and realize the potential of digital innovation. Your focus will be on where the customer’s business will be in the future and accelerating traction to successful outcomes. Work city and state are flexible based on Verizon locations.

You will be working directly with customers in a business development role to help them harness digital, business and IT transformation. Many customers will progress from candidates on a path to being included in our innovation program. The Business Innovation Partner will create new opportunities for both the customer and Verizon.

The Business Innovation Partner will focus on the business outcomes that can be achieved in the short, mid and long term. In particular, how Verizon products and services can be key elements and enablers for success in the service areas of Networking, Security, Communications and Customer Experience.

Key features of the Business Innovation Organization are:

  • Identifying and enumerating use cases.

  • Creating roadmaps and action plans.

  • Prioritizing workstreams.

  • Partner with Oath and Verizon Wireless.

  • Utilize our innovation frameworks and methodologies.

  • Speak to customers at our innovation centers.

What we’re looking for...

The Business Innovation Partner should be comfortable and eager to instigate innovative thinking with customers to create tangible workstreams for business growth or digital transformation. As a highly customer facing role, you should be able to independently prepare for and conduct meetings with executives in technology, marketing, innovation, strategy, business.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree. Ideally in computer science, engineering or related discipline.

  • MBA or Masters in engineering.

  • Solid technology background.

  • Business Development experience.

  • Experience with Executive presentations.

  • Consulting experience.

  • Led meetings and workshops.

  • Built roadmaps and action plans.

  • Experience with breadth of industries.

  • Led teams.

Knowledge of:

  • IoT

  • Big Data and Analytics

  • Edge Computing and applications

  • Security

  • Unified Communications

  • Customer experience

  • Digital Experience

  • Market Segmentation / Personas
