Job Description

This critically important role is responsible for managing strategic account client relationships. You will report to the Director, Strategic Accounts of Omnicare Account Management and you will manage/develop the client relationship. You will work to retain and expand existing business and are the key point of contact for driving customer satisfaction.

Your key job responsibilities include:

  • Build strong client relationships by consistently delivering client interactions that develop trust and show our value

  • Develop cadence of regular client meetings to establish strong connectivity with key partners

  • Deliver Quarterly Business Reviews to client leadership to review business deliverables and evaluate new opportunities

  • Identify at-risk accounts and consult with internal partners to assist with development of action plans to address customer risks and opportunities

  • Assess client needs by partnering with corporate client leadership and present Omnicare/CVS value proposition for new products and services to grow base

  • Partner with Account Managers to ensure provision of services at the local/facility level

  • Proactively review pricing to identify client education and upsell opportunities

  • Responsible for contract renewals of existing clients, including needs assessment, pricing strategy, negotiation, and contract presentation Operate with strong business insight and industry knowledge, remaining conscious of industry trends

Territory is subject to change. Travel will be involved, so you will need to be within a reasonable proximity of a major airport within this region of the country (Ohio, Michigan, Massachusetts and Connecticut).

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of direct account management experience

  • The ability to travel overnight at least 50%

  • Valid drivers’ license and able to provide proof of insurance, if driving

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or related experience

Education

Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required.
