As User Experience Architect you will translate requirements into concepts and elegant user experience design. You will create wireframes, mockups, html prototypes, interaction models, user task flows, screen designs, and UX details to promote ease of use, improving and optimizing the user experience. You will also demonstrate conceptual and creative thinking to provide simple and elegant design approaches to complex design problems, leveraging current digital technologies, establishing best practices for UX development and then making continuous improvements.
Translates user requirement and complex business problems into highly usable designs in collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.
Drives the development of clean, efficient, user interface designs from conception through implementation.
Creates new concepts, mockups, wireframes and visual and interactive designs based on internal requirements and creative briefs.
Collaborates with back-end developers and analysts to communicate design specifications, develop requirements and provide design feedback.
Represents users while balancing realities of business environment.
Understands and works within project parameters, client goals and requirements, internal goals, usability, technical constraints and schedule.
Develops and maintains styles, guides and asset libraries to support Web and Mobile interfaces.
Ensures products' compliance standards are implemented during construction; including Section 508 and WC3.
Monitors industry trends and provides leadership with updates on applicable developments.
Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science Information Technology or related field, required.
Minimum of three (3) years experience in web design, graphic design, web and mobile development or user interface design, required.
Thorough knowledge of web, mobile, interactive design principles and site usability, including layout, grid systems information design, typography, and conceptual skills and ability to create prototypes and mock-ups, required.
Experience required with Adobe Creative Suite 5 (or newer).
Able to work independently, as well as in cross-functional team.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to articulate strategies.
