Digital Project Manager, Lead

Key Role:

Assist with providing day-to-day, hands-on tactical leadership to the software development team, inducing overseeing the team’s operations and processes, championing and modeling software quality and craftsmanship, and updating stakeholders on progress, as needed. Assist the development team with managing expectations, building and communicating realistic plans, and improving continuously. Support program and project managers, including providing second-level management of technical delivery staff and hiring and training staff.

Basic Qualifications:

-8+ years of experience with leading enterprise IT solutions

-4+ years of experience with the software development life cycle (SDLC) and transforming large legacy government IT organizations into modern matrixed digital organizations

-Experience with modern technologies, including Agile, DevOps, Cloud, mobile, and open platforms

-Experience in engaging with senior external personnel on significant technical matters

-Ability to work with functional teams from initial concept development to final development and delivery

-Ability to manage development projects, including internal briefings, client management, and overseeing all aspects of project delivery and risk

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-8+ years of experience with leading large transformational technology programs

-6+ years of experience with progressively technical digital transformation efforts

-Experience with proposal development and cost estimation for consulting efforts

-Experience with digital security, including supporting frameworks and technologies

-Knowledge of the general trends influencing digital solutions

-Ability to articulate solutions and benefits clearly

-Ability to manage multiple and competing work priorities, demands, and changes

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-MS degree

-Project Management Professional (PMP), Program Management Professional (PgMP), SAFe Agilist (SA), or Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) Certification
