Lockheed Martin Administrative Assistant Specialist in Marietta, Georgia

Description: Reports to the Vice President and General Manager of Air Mobility and Maritime Missions (AMMM) & Site General Manager, Marietta. Provides administrative support to other leaders in the organization as needed. Diversified responsibilities include but are not limited to: resolving priorities in a constantly changing, fast paced environment, assisting with preparation of briefing materials, including Power Point presentations, arranging and supporting a variety of executive, customer, and supplier meetings.

Position will require interface with all levels of internal/external customer, company, and program personnel while balancing workload prioritization. This individual will work independently in preparing correspondence, letters, and reports and provide administrative review of documents. This individual will use personal initiative to formalize processes, maintain a high degree of organization, and streamline operations within the AMMM Executive Program Office. This individual will work collaboratively with the Executive Assistant to the Vice President and General Manager and Customer Relations to support administrative tasks (including entering customers into the Visitor Management System) of Level 1 Visits and internal offsites. In addition, this individual will establish a collaborative environment and protocol amongst all Marietta site administrative assistants. The individual should be an advocate of Culture of Accountability® principles.

Other responsibilities include standard administrative duties - manage outlook calendar including resolving meeting conflicts and identifying delegates where appropriate, manage e-mail accounts and conference rooms, arrange international/domestic travel, work expense reimbursements, create and update presentations, place and expense catering orders, order suppliers, and other general office duties.

Prefer individual with advanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

In 2020, this facility will transition to a 4/10 Schedule, which means the work day will consist of working Monday through Thursday for 10 hours a day and Friday being an off-day.

Must be a United States Citizen or authorized to work in the United States. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications:

Experience as an Administrative Assistance with 5+ years experience.

Proficient with Microsoft Office - Microsoft Word, Power Point, Outlook, Excel. (Must be able to create, edit, and manipulate all major applications. Must be able to do pivot tables in Excel.)

Experience arranging international/domestic travel and expense reporting.

Experience managing outlook calendar and email.

Desired Skills:

Team player that can multi-task in a fast-paced, changing environment.

High level of organizational and prioritization skills.

Experience working with sensitive information, a high level of confidentiality is required.

Familiarization with Concur Travel/Expense Reporting system.

Must possess excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well with all levels of staff, as well as external contacts including high levels of Company/Government personnel.

Project management/coordination experience.
