Brown-Forman RTC & Sales Operations Analyst in Louisville, Kentucky

Position Title: Route-To-Consumer & Sales Operations Analyst

Business Group: USA & Canada | Route-To-Consumer & Sales Operations

Location: Louisville, Kentucky

Salary Grade: 29

Reports To: VP, Director RTC & Sales Operations

Partners With: RTC Execution Manager, Sales Operations Manager, Region Operating Managers, Consumer and Shopper Insights team members, etc

The RTC & Sales Operations Analyst will successfully lead the strategic analysis relative to our RTC capabilities, create access to key metrics affecting the value of our RTC, and support performance transparency relative to our sales organization. The position will be a critical member of the RTC & Sales Operations team and have four primary responsibilities:

  • RTC & Sales Operations Reporting & Dashboard Management (creation & updating)

  • National Performance Score-carding (evolutions, updates, & communications)

  • Sophisticated analytics and big data modeling

  • Adhoc project support


RTC & Sales Operations Reporting & Dashboard Management (creation & updating) (30%):

  • Support for regional & national reporting needs (ie Monthly Flash support, TPS support, RTM Progress meeting support, etc)

  • Lead the development and regular updates of Tableau Dashboards that support the RTC & Sales Operations team (ie. market structural overviews; supplier profiles, distributor profiles, BFSEE score-carding, etc)

National commercial performance score-carding (evolutions, updates, communications (40%):

  • Lead the reporting associated with distributor family performance & national incentive programs (ie. BF150, Distributor & Broker of the year, etc)

  • Lead the reporting associated with key channel, availability, & innovation brand metrics

Sophisticated analytics and big data modeling (30%):

  • Support the development and advancement of our trade segmentation models

  • Support the prioritization of brand KPIs (key-performance-indicators) executed across the markets

  • Support the prioritization of brand availability & channel targets

Adhoc strategic analytical support (5%):

  • Support the RTC & Sales Operations team (and US/C leadership team) as needed with strategic analysis

Must have Requirements:

  • Degree in Data Science, a form of advanced analytics, finance, or accounting

  • 3-5 years of business or financial professional experience

  • Proven and successful experience with Tableau

  • Experience in advanced statistical tools and analytical modeling.

  • Demonstrated ability and knowledge of various software packages, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SAP, and other statistical packages.

  • Ability to independently plan and prioritize multiple diverse work projects within the department

  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills with ability to discuss analytical strategies and translate into actionable plans

  • Proactive self–starter with the intellectual curiosity

Preferred Requirements:

  • MBA or other advanced management degree

  • Working knowledge of consumer and commercial data resources including Nielsen, SAMII, Spectra, Adview, etc.

  • Spirits or CPG Industry experience
