Sodexo Operations LLC Executive Chef 2 in LOUISVILLE, Kentucky
Sodexo is seeking an Executive Chef 2 for a high visibility multi-site, national corporate account based in Louisville Kentucky .
The national position will be responsible for creating an elegant and sophisticated culinary experience that exceeds client culinary and service expectations while enhancing the overall client program. The position will oversee all culinary aspects of a thriving, highly visible executive offering that includes a national headquarters’ café and vibrant catering department based in downtown Louisville, as well as provide national support for a multi-site portfolio.
This is a hand’s on manager role, with responsibility for daily production and direction of a team of cooks, while working within a team of other managers. The responsibilities encompass operational duties and financial responsibilities, providing leadership and management of the kitchen staff, and developing high quality products with a focus on local, sustainable and wellness, as well as growing profitability within the account.

This position provides culinary leadership within a large unit that will include hands-on culinary work, menu planning, program execution, staff management and training. The Executive Chef will work directly with internal and external clients on a frequent basis, as well as internal managers and staff to execute a flawless culinary experience for both the café and catering in a highly visible executive environment.

Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
