CVS Health Delivery Driver - Part Time in Louisville, Kentucky

Job Description

As a Delivery Driver for Med Care Pharmacy, you will work in an exciting and fast paced environment, collaborating with Driver Coordinators to ensure that all deliveries are made in a safe, efficient and effective manner. You will act as a liaison between the facility staff and Med Care Pharmacy, delivering medications to the facilities, which require a strong sense of urgency. As part of the Med Care team, you will assist in the planning and set up of new and existing delivery runs when requested by management.

As a Delivery Driver, you will get to:

*Work with Driver Coordinators when needed to ensure that deliveries leave the pharmacy at the appropriate time.

*Document all work on an activity log which include cell phone usage, car used, and deliveries in the correct order.

*Report status and any problems to Med Care management.

*Maintain company cars by cleaning inside and out, fueling, and reporting any mechanical issues immediately to management.

*File paperwork in appropriate filling area.

Position schedule: Part-time afternoon/evening shifts, hours subject to change based on company needs.

A successful Delivery Driver will demonstrate excellent customer service skills, as well as the ability to multitask and work under limited supervision.

Required Qualifications

  • Must possess a current and valid driver's license

  • Must possess and maintain a clear driving record

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

Previous delivery or customer service experience preferred.


High School Diploma or equivalent
