Lockheed Martin Field Engineer / Depot Operations / Los Angeles, CA in Los Angeles, California

Description: Provide Depot Operations Support through managing flow of repair and retrofit hardware, ensures database accuracy of maintenance & supply information, develops depot processes & procedures to ensure audit compliance, manages hazardous materials inventory, and supporting development of key performance metrics.

Candidate will be required to have an in-depth knowledge of maintenance practices, engineering documentation, configuration management, and repair/retrofit procedures in a fast-paced military depot-level maintenance environment.

Strong Microsoft Excel skills required.

Basic Qualifications:

Must be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret Clearance.

Must have at least 5 years of hands-on, professional experience.

Strong knowledge and experience in repairs of electro-mechanical assemblies.

Experience in developing and updating maintenance procedures.

Familiarity with industrial standards, military specifications and industry processes.

Ability to lift 35 pounds.

Ability to adapt to dynamic and frequently changing customer requirements.

Ability to understand policies and procedures for the control of Government property.

Ability to work with hazardous materials.

Desired Skills:

Prior experience in one or more of the following disciplines:

-Engineering

-Quality Engineer

-Technical Management

-Military Maintenance Management

Prior experience in maintenance coordination/supervision and/or Quality audit preparation.

Active DoD Secret Clearance.
