Lockheed Martin Subcontract Administrator in Liverpool, New York

Description: Candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of procurement / subcontract related activities in support of the SQQ-89 Production program, out of Syracuse, NY. This position will be supporting the Subcontract Manager on the program.

Subcontract administration duties will include: issuing PIAs, generating RFP packages, analyzing and evaluate proposals, validating proposal compliancy, developing negotiation strategies and negotiating price and terms & conditions, including prime contract flowdowns. Generate purchase order documentation in accordance with established policies and procedures. Monitor subcontract performance against contract and SOW requirements. Generate modifications and monitor funding status. Provide status updates as required to PM, SM and Finance. Ensure timely processing of subcontractor invoices.

Maintain timely, effective and compliant purchase order placement and administration. Work closely with the Subcontract Manager, Program Team and other functional areas to manage all aspects of subcontract administration.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to work in fast paced, multi-tasking environment. Drive closure of actions in other functions as required, to complete sourcing tasks or for the subcontractor to meet contract commitments. Experience in reviewing proposals, SOWs, negotiating cost and terms & conditions and conducting price analyses. Knowledge in subcontract administration including experience with LMAP, FAR, P2P and various contract types.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Customer oriented, team player, flexible and adaptable to change. Excellent organizational skills, prioritization skills and problem solving ability. Attention to detail and accuracy are critical. Self starter.
