Lockheed Martin Subcontract Administrator in Littleton, Colorado
Description: Exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced, growing division within Lockheed Martin Space working on subcontract management activities for advanced technical development programs for Space applications in Littleton, CO. This position will support Space Protection Programs (SPP) mission area within Military Space line of business supporting firm program requirements and proposal activities. The candidate is to have knowledge of subcontracts (Cost Reimbursable contracts, Firm Fixed Priced, T&M, Task Order, Labor, eIWTA, etc.) and how to perform those subcontract administration/management tasks along with working knowledge of the SAP/P2P systems and eIWTA system. The individual selected for this position must have strong inter-personal and communication skills to effectively work with various functional personnel in the SPP mission area (e.g. Finance, Production, Material, and Engineering, etc.). This position will support a classified area that prepares, manages, and administers subcontracted items using mission area unique processes. Efforts will include existing and new contracts that are considered classified and program sensitive along with preparing RFI's and RFP's for new efforts and proposal support. In addition, this position may be tasked to travel and work close-out activities, attend subcontract meetings, plus other tasks associated with subcontracts for the product area.
Desired Skills: It is desired that the individual selected for this position already has a Security clearance (DoD TS or SCI with current Poly preferred).
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and work well under pressure
Ability to be flexible and accept change
Proven working knowledge of diverse contract types, medium complexity subcontracts.
Working knowledge of long-form subcontracts.
Knowledge of government and commercial acquisition procedures, FAR, DFAR, and public laws as they relate to subcontracting.
The individual must have current TS/SCI and pass a Poly.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and be self-motivated.
Ability to organize and prioritize task in dynamic work environment; ability to analyze a problem and recommend solutions by exercising sound problem solving skills.
Possess proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 6 years of professional experience.
