Lockheed Martin SOC/SIM CPE Delegate in Littleton, Colorado

Software Only CEV (Crew Exploration Vehicle) Risk Reduction Analysis and Test Engineering Simulation (SOCRRATES) and Simulation Software Architect and CPE Delegate will be responsible for detailed understanding of Orion flight software throughout the full development lifecycle, including design, test, verification, system integration, and maintenance. The selected candidate must have exceptional learning skills and must be willing to spend the time required to master the Simulation and SOCRRATES system architecture and design implementation. Candidate will become the SOCRRATES and Simulation Software Certified Principal Engineer Delegate, technical authority, and key technical liaison with the NASA customer. Candidate will help ensure adherence with the program processes and tools per the Orion Software Development Plan, Lockheed Martin Command Media and associated coding standards. Responsibilities include * Overseeing the SOCRRATES and Orion Sim architecture in support of SWIM Team objectives * Have detailed understanding of Orion Sim and SOCRRATES systems throughout the full development lifecycle, including design, test, verification, system integration, and maintenance. * Required to analyze system capabilities to resolve questions of program and customer intent, system design, and software implementation * Liaison between development teams, venders, and the customer

Basic Qualifications Must be capable of planning, prioritizing, executing, and statusing self-directed software development activities. Working knowledge of Simulation software development Ability to perform as a member a geographically and organizationally distributed team environment. Ability to communicate and coordinate with customers, teammates, and vendors. Demonstrated initiative, written and verbal communication skills, and ability to synthesize design elements for complex architectures. Experience in requirements analysis and implementation in an object oriented environment and mastery of OO / UML / C++. Working knowledge of embedded and closed loop SW systems, and the verification in both software simulation/emulation and hardware-in-the-loop environments.

Desired skills Experience with full systems engineering lifecycle. Candidate should have experience with managing software across multiple configuration baselines.
