Verizon Wireless Legal Analyst in Little Rock, Arkansas

What you’ll be doing...

This position will provide support to clients in the network organization by preparing, drafting, and revising standard real property agreements. This position reports to the attorney (Staff Counsel) managing the in-house review of network real estate transactions. The selected candidate must have excellent project management skills and interpersonal management skills to maintain an effective working relationship with customers, colleagues, other company personnel, and representatives from landlords, other carriers, and tower companies.

  • Under general supervision, accurately prepares and reviews agreements and provides thorough legal analysis for time sensitive standard real property transactions at the request of Verizon Wireless network organization clients according to processes and guidelines outlined by Staff Counsel or Supervisor. Assesses material legal risk related to real property transactions as identified by network clients and outside legal counsel.

  • Provides excellent customer service to network organization clients and interfaces with landlords, other carriers, and tower companies regarding network real estate transactions and legal matters affecting network real estate.

  • Maintains databases and trackers to measure and report (1) progress of the portfolio of transactions, and (2) financial savings afforded to Verizon Wireless as a result of in-house review of network real estate transactions.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or one or more years of work experience.

  • Transaction experience.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Superior customer service.

  • Sense of urgency and ability to prioritize and organize multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Flexibility to learn new skills.

  • Experience with real estate transactions, including the ability to interpret contracts.

  • PC literacy and ability to expand knowledge to other applications.

  • Strong interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent multi-tasking skills.

  • Ability to work autonomously while maintaining a sense of team unity.

  • Ability to work under significant time pressures and meet deadlines.

  • Positive attitude coupled with a desire to contribute to a team that provides tangible value to Verizon Wireless.

  • Paralegal certification.
