POSITION SUMMARY

We are able to consider qualified candidates across the country in locations where there is an Aetna office.

Develops and executes effective account management strategies for larger, more complex Hospital and Healthcare accounts to meet profitable growth, revenue, and cross-selling objectives.

Fundamental Components:

As a member of the Healthcare Business Solutions Team supporting our Hospital and Healthcare clients, act as strategic business partner to constituents (producers, plan sponsors, customers) to optimize the positioning of Aetna's products and services and to attain profitability and membership objectives.

Develops and executes the renewal process ensuring appropriate margins, revenue and customer/membership retention targets are achieved. Prepares client for renewal by explaining cost drivers of benefit plan, offers solutions to reduce costs, delivers renewal to client and producer. Formulates complex financial decision recommendations and presents them to management. Assesses the competitive environment and develops sales strategies to capitalize on market opportunities and drive a competitive advantage.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

4 to 6 years industry level experience with 2 to 4 as a large (1000+) group Account Executive. Experience supporting large complex hospital and healthcare customers required. Licensure as required by state.

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
