CVS Health Testing Center of Excellence Senior Manager in Lincoln, Rhode Island

Job Description

As the Testing Center of Excellence Senior Manager, you will lead approximately 25 colleagues and 50 contractors in testing and release management of Pharmacy benefits for Health Plan clients. You will be responsible for managing resources and the testing of benefits and clinical changes for our clients. While working with multi-functional teams in benefits, clinical, account management, and network to ensure the success of health plan benefits quality. This includes management and oversight of quality reviews and compliance to required quality standards. Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring the Standard Operating Procedure and QA checklists are up-to-date with the latest standard methodologies

  • Handling the collection, analysis, and reporting of testing metrics

  • Delivering executive-level quality reporting

Required Qualifications

  • 8 or more years of experience in a business operations or a quality assurance role with focus on the automation of testing for client benefits either in a PBM industry or Managed Care

  • At least 3 years of direct or indirect leadership experience with strong team building, mentoring and coaching skills

  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed for business support

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in QA automation, Automation tools a Plus.

  • Solid grasp of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Power Point and Access

  • Experience with Visio, Project and Facets also a plus

  • Demonstrated ability to manage strategic projects

  • Continuous process improvement approach

  • Ability to turn improvement ideas into executable plans for implementation across QA/Application teams

  • Good communicator, both verbal and written, with executive presence and the ability to influence across functions and at all levels of an organization

  • Highly organized and able to provide positive leadership across multiple work streams in a fast-paced, matrixed working environment

  • Successful ability to prioritize, manage multiple assignments, and direct the work of others to meet timelines

  • Ability to think both strategically and tactically, along with a willingness to challenge the status quo to ensure the department reaches higher levels of performance

Education

  • Bachelors Degree is required

  • Equivalent experience may be considered
