JPMorgan Chase Big Data Developer in Lewisville, Texas

The big data developer as part of core platform team is responsible for driving the design and development of core platform frameworks and retail banking risk and finance applications that enables the delivery and construction processes for the Data Management, Data Discovery and Analytics group, leveraging emerging big data technologies

Key responsibilities shall include but not be limited to:

  • Proficiency in modern programming languages J2EE, Java, Python, JSON, XML, XSD, JAXB Cloudera, Hadoop, Spark, Scala, Cassandra, HIVE, Kafka

  • Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines

  • Understanding of architecture and design across all systems

  • Working proficiency in developmental toolsets

  • Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals

  • Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance and software improvement

  • Experience with Hadoop ecosystem technology stacks as HDFS, HBase, Hive, Pig, Spark, MapReduce, Cloudera etc. Strong experience in using Eclipse, Maven, Jenkins, GIT, JIRA, HP AML, Control M or equivalent tools

  • Following Agile development process
