Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Senior Solution Specialist, Core Business Operations, Systems Engineering in Lake Mary, FL and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You ll Do

Designing, implementing, and operating solutions for custom-developed systems, platform integration, and application modernization to enable core business capabilities. Directing large technology engagements and participating in projects including ideation, identification, planning and cost estimation through requirements, design, development, testing, implementation and production. Performing assessments of existing information systems, and identifying gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities. Tracking application defects using defect tracking tools, coordinating defect resolution efforts, and documenting resolution details. Presenting content that addresses client needs in solutioning sessions to drive toward a decision, and validating that decision with client leadership to drive the company s growth and progress. Assessing and diagnosing a problem and analyzing the interactions between key drivers. Translating business needs into associated technical requirements and understanding solutions that will incorporate these requirements. Participating in Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions and analyzing High Level Design documents and Schema to document system application impacts for testing phases System, Functional, Automation, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Production. Creating Requirement Understanding Documents (RUD) covering details in Assumptions, System Details, Logical System Requirements, System Entity and Acceptance Criteria. Defining roles and responsibilities, entry and exit criteria, and in-scope and out-of-scope requirements for each testing activity (Unit, Functional, Automation and Production). Creating and maintaining reports and charts to track utilization of teams and progress of projects through management tools HP ALM (Application Lifecycle Management), Rally, Version One and JIRA. Tracking team performance and generating metrics Automation Penetration, Resource Utilization, Scheduled Variance, Defect Detection Effectiveness and Defect Acceptance Ratio. Employing Rally and JIRA to monitor statuses of user stories, team velocity, capacity and sending out Daily Burn down charts to stakeholders and team members. Overseeing Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) and Gap Analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering (any), CIS, MIS or a related field.

  • Two years of experience as a Senior Solution Specialist, Test Engineering Specialist, Software Engineering Senior Analyst or a position in a related occupation.

  • Must have two years of experience with:

  • Participating in Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions and analyzing High Level Design documents and Schema to document system application impacts for testing phases System, Functional, Automation, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Production;
