Supervising Associate Business Analyst

Essential Functions of the Job:

  • Develops and maintains strong working relationships with product stakeholders to understand their business objectives and practices, to achieve effective coordination in the deployment of technology services, and manages competing priorities.

  • Work as part of team identifying opportunities for business process automation.

  • Provides services toprepare and facilitate of process design sessions, document use cases, data process flows and system process flows.Documents revised business flows and communicates changes.Assisting in any change management items.

  • Interface with automation central to develop business cases, develop solutions, test solutions and implement solutions.Assisting where necessary with data conversion and interfacing activities.

  • Works with the team to develops integrated testing plans to address changes in systems.

  • Prepares training materials, quick reference cards, and holds when necessary user education sessions.

  • Reviews future functionality releases and determine impact to current processes.

  • Ability to adapt to constantly changing work requirements while assimilating new information, analyzing it, and effectively applying it

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

  • Be able to be flexible in project assignments as the project’s prioritization may change on a frequent basis.

  • Ability to learn new things quickly, to thrive on change, navigate ambiguity, and to strive for continuous improvement

  • Results driven, with a strong attention to detail

  • Strong sense of operational efficiency, judgment, tact, and decision-making ability

  • Able to complete multiple smaller projects concurrently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Receives general direction; however detailed supervision may occur depending on the complexity and visibility of a project.

  • Ability to work and team effectively with IT Services groups and other management personnel including on a global, virtual basis

  • Ability to develop a strong understanding of the business drivers that determine success.

  • Good project management skills. Demonstrates strong understanding of scope, schedule and planning, time management, resource management and cost management.

  • Ability to foster and model strong teamwork

  • Has ability to present to executives

  • Managing and negotiating with difficult and opinionated stakeholders with some supervision during elicitation sessions and during the development lifecycle.

  • Possesses good business writing and excellent facilitation skills. Communicates clearly, tactfully and effectively.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills – must be able to communicate fluently in English both verbally and in writing

  • Medium Knowledge of accounting and financials

  • Knowledge ofwith Enterprise Analysis and overall Process Re–engineering including Business Process Modelling, Capability Gap Assessment, and definition of solution approach and scope

  • With direction ability to develop and deploy of formal process governance

  • Proficient at executing the determined methodology.

Technical Skills

  • Experience in business process improvements and process reengineering (Kaizen, Six Sigma, Lean, Just do it, etc.) – Green Belt and/or Lean Certification preferred

  • Basic knowledge on RPA (Robotic Process Automation) concept

  • Working knowledge of Relational Database (MS SQL/ Oracle DB)

  • Agile software development experience

  • Experience with SAP

  • Experience with Financial Systems

  • Proficient in TFS, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

Other Requirements:

  • Ability and flexibility to work in a virtual environment across multiple time zones

  • Flexibility to work non-standard hours

  • Domestic and international travel may be required periodically

  • Be able to be a critical thinker and open to exploring ideas concepts that may be foreign to them
