The individual selected for this position will be responsible of developing and administering security programs and procedures for classified materials, documents and equipment.

Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company operations.

Obtains rulings, interpretations and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies.

Prepares manuals outlining regulations and establishes procedures for handling, storing and keeping records and for granting personnel and visitor’s access to restricted records and materials.

Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken. Must be able to work with minimal supervision in high-stress, fast-paced, multi-program environment.

Interface with business unit management, engineering staff and customer reps to design and implement security measures as outlined within the DoD 5205.07, ICD, NISPOM and other program-specific security directives.

Coordinate with government agencies to obtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations.

Prepare security plans outlining regulations and established procedures for all areas of the security department.

Candidate must have strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively and authoritatively across all levels of the corporation including business unit management, engineering staff, program management, customer reps and government oversight agencies. Attention to detail and organization skills a must for this position. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Candidate must have the ability to design and implement security measures as outlined within the NISPOM and other applicable regulations, policies and procedures. Candidate must be self-driven and results-oriented individual capable of effectively working multiple tasks concurrently. The ability to articulate and present intelligent, decisive and risk-managed security recommendations and decisions on a daily basis is essential. Strong interpersonal and team building skills.
