Duties: Design, develop, implement, configure, maintain, administer, and integrate solutions on New York Life’s Salesforce based Customer Relationship Management ("CRM") platform. Deliver highly-scalable, extensible, and easy-to-maintain solutions for end-users of the Salesforce platform. Leverage programming skills, tools and languages, such as JavaScript Apex, JSON, Web Services (WSDL/SOAP/REST), as well knowledge of web-based systems architecture, service-based architecture, and enterprise integration technologies to develop solutions to highly ambiguous problems.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field and three (3) years programming experience, or five (5) years’ programming experience in required JavaScript with at least two (2) years using related Salesforce technologies. Strong communication skills are a must.

Must possess experience in the following:

  • Performing web application development using JavaScript, HTML5, CSS and frameworks such as React, Angular or Aura.

  • 3-5 years programming experience in any of the following languages, Java, C# (or .net core/Asp.net), Python or Scala.

  • Experience with any variant of SQL (PL/SQL, T-SQL, pg-sql etc) or SOQL & SOSL.

  • Debugging event driven web applications.

  • Calling/integrating with REST APIs both public (e.g. Twilio) as well as custom/proprietary

Experience in the following is a plus:

  • Salesforce integration and extensions, and design solutions utilizing Force.com APEX, Visual Force and SOQL.

  • Calling/integrating with SOAP APIs

  • Salesforce configuration and tools such as Workflow, Process Builder, Communities.

  • Mulesoft Anypoint Studio and related Mulesoft technologies

  • Designing, developing and implementing salesforce applications using Lightning framework.

  • Designing, developing and implementing salesforce applications using Lightning web components framework.

  • Interfacing with Business and Technical teams to analyze requirements, create technical architecture to meet business needs, and resolve technical issues.
