Job Description:

Manages multiple related and interdependent projects and technology change initiatives specific to corporate change initiatives that have significant impact on how the company does business, provides a product or service, or executes a function. Project responsibility requires responsibility for staff and budget. Communicates, influences and negotiates both vertically and horizontally to obtain or leverage necessary resources. Ability to analyze present-state, developing alternative future-state approaches and facilitating implementation. Creates a clear, coherent approach to guide effective program/initiative setup, execution, and control. Ensures clearly defined responsibilities and accountabilities for key program/project roles. Demonstrates knowledge of end-to-end business process into program planning and deciding processes. Develop, maintain, and report on an overall integrated delivery plan. Management experience with small teams. Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines. Business centric mindset with ability to utilize sound business judgment and tailor approach to drive optimal business outcomes. May or may not manage employees. Typically 3+ plus years of project management support experience.

Position Summary

Serve as a trusted and valued strategic partner to LOB partners by providing a superior project management experience. Provides structure and support, along with rigor around project governance and oversight adhering to the firm’s Global Change Policy and Enterprise Standards. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Establishing and managing routines and reporting

  • Leading/driving comprehensive planning, implementation and adoption across business, technology, operations, and support functions

  • Organizing and advancing the project, ensuring everything is on time, in scope and on budget

  • Developing project plans and tracking for multiple workstreams

  • Identifying and engaging all key stakeholders

  • Documenting and managing dependencies across initiatives

  • Defining and rolling out communications and training plans

  • Identifying and escalating risks and issues

  • Identifying gaps and working with teams to produce relevant outcomes/solutions

Required Skills

  • Ability to communicate clearly and navigate at all levels in the organization

  • Tier 1 financial services experience

  • Executive reporting and presentation skills

  • Highly organized with critical thinking abilities at both the strategic and tactical levels

  • Experience delivering large projects with significant impact to multiple lines of business, that may have cross-functional or inter-departmental implications

  • Experience driving multiple projects simultaneously
