Verizon Voice Security Product Manager in Irving, Texas
What you’ll be doing...
You will be responsible for Stir/Shaken strategy, lifecycle product management, and strategic evolution throughout the Verizon Business Communications portfolio. In addition, youwill work with a team of product managers who have responsibility for managing additional products within the Business Communications portfolio. You willdrive the product forward with an emphasis on enabling the platform to grow with the ever-changing technology landscape.
Facilitatingdeployment of STIR/SHAKEN throughout the Business Communications portfolio
Assisting with representing and driving productizing Voice Defense Solution.
Building a vision, strategy, and roadmap for STIR/SHAKEN of services with an end goal of creating a scalable and sustainable business line.
Working closely with engineering, operations, finance, sales, marketing and customer support to ensure that projects are appropriately funded, prioritized, and delivered on time and within budget.
Partnering with the Operations team to provide business requirements for Trusted Call Origination Registry (TCOR) and Do Not Originate (DNO).
Coaching Sales and fellow Product Managers on voice security products.
Partnering with the sales, account management, finance and customer service teams to understand the requirements of the target customers and act as the voice of the customer internally.
Partneringwith Regulatory, Public Relations on industry and public messaging.
Supporting problem escalations as required with Sales and Customers.
Managingthe product development process across organizations by ensuring clear direction is communicated to engineering and operations teams when defining and prioritizing features, enhancements, platform improvements, and customer requests.
Identifyingand reporting on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and opportunities across the portfolio.
What we’re looking for...
You'll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant work experience.
Even better if you have:
Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, engineering, or related field.
Five or more years of product management experience.
Experience in one of the following: Security, Software as a Service (SaaS) or Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) offerings for enterprises.
Experience in management of service to SLA targets and corrective measures/escalations.
Knowledge of Voice IP and or TDM services.
Experience with agile development processes and monthly or weekly product release cycles.
Knowledge of security concerns pertaining to enterprise customers.
Ability to communicate with core engineering teams, motivate various stakeholders, and communicate strategy to a broad range of audiences.
Written and oral communication skills.
Willingness to travel.
