Lockheed Martin Software Engineer in Huntsville, Alabama
Description: Software Engineer to support Launcher Software Item (SI) development and integration for the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) Ground System. Specific assignments will be software development tasks, including software requirements definition, software design, code, unit test and integration testing. Candidate will also support the production and formal delivery of software builds. Tasks will be performed in accordance with program and Lockheed Martin software practices. Work is performed in a multi-disciplinary engineering team environment requiring effective communication and collaboration to successfully implement enhancement to existing software products.
Experience developing, integrating, testing, and troubleshooting large software systems
Cybersecurity experience with encrypted network communications utilizing externally generated keys/certificates.
C++ development experience for Windows and Linux operating systems
Experience with real-time embedded development on VxWorks 7.0 is preferred.
Experience with the setup and operation of network links utilizing TCP/IP and/or CORBA communications.
Real-time embedded systems development for VME-based systems.
Familiarity with FIPS (Federal Information Processing Standards)
Experience in requirements development and/or analysis for software/hardware interfaces.
