Shifts: Tuesday to Friday (04:00 -14:00) and Saturday (07:00 - 17:30) 10 x hour day with a 1 hour unpaid break.
Salary:- £9.10 per hour
As a FedEx driver within our Linehaul fleet you will be responsible for the security of the vehicle and the movement of freight between Hub and Depot locations. You will also conduct procedural checks on your vehicle, documentation and loads; and adhere to compliance with tachograph and driver’s hours regulations. To ensure the timely delivery and collection of goods to both commercial and private premises, in line with Company requirements/P&P. Driving Duties: Maintain punctuality at start of shift, drive vehicles safely at all times & adhere to UK legal requirements. Ensure vehicles are operated legally with regard to load stability/vehicle condition/driver hours, etc. May need to load/unload vehicle as and when required using appropriate equipment (i.e. Pump Truck).
To be successful in this role you will:
Hold a full valid LGV C+E licence along with Driver CPC and Tacho Driver Cards
Be able to complete all required training
Be able to work independently
