A career in our Risk and Compliance Management practice, within Cybersecurity and Privacy services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients implement an effective cybersecurity programme that protects against threats, propels transformation, and drives growth. As companies pivot toward a digital business model, exponentially more data is generated and shared among organisations, partners and customers. You’ll play an integral role in helping our clients ensure they are protected by developing transformation strategies focused on security, efficiently integrate and manage new or existing technology systems to deliver continuous operational improvements and increase their cybersecurity investment, and detect, respond, and remediate threats.

In joining, you’ll develop risk management solutions, compliance and ethics controls, business continuity planning, internal audit procedures, and a compliance framework.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Associate, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Proactively assist in the management of several clients, while reporting to Managers and above

  • Train and lead staff

  • Establish effective working relationships directly with clients

  • Contribute to the development of your own and team’s technical acumen

  • Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues

  • Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients

  • Continue to develop internal relationships and your PwC brand

Preferred Knowledge/Skills :

Demonstrates thorough knowledge and/or a proven record of success in Internet of Things (IoT), including the following areas: - Common IoT-related issues facing clients in several industry sectors, including Financial Services, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Retail, Media and Entertainment, and Energy; - Differentiation of leading IoT platform and technologies (e.g., Azure IoT Hub and IoT Central, ForgeRock Edge Security, AWS IoT, Infineon Technologies, Centri) and of their design and implementation; - IoT protocols (e.g., MQTT, COAP, DDNS); - Implementation and consumption of REST APIs, with an understanding of WS-Security; - Simulated devices usage experience (e.g., Raspberry Pi and Amazon Dash); and, - Security concepts, including OAUTH and OIDC.

Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or a proven record of success contributing to and supporting practice management for a specific operation or process, including the following areas: - Developing an awareness of Firm services; - Contributing to specific workstreams on an engagement or engagements, staying educated on current trends and assisting in the development of knowledge capital; - Collaborating with business development teams responsible for writing and presenting proposals to prospective clients; - Identifying and addressing client needs while displaying the ability to contribute to the development of a business vision and manage implementation efforts with complex project management capabilities; - Contributing to business development opportunities and/or engagements from pre-sale and initial scoping through final delivery and sign-off; - Building relationships with clients; - Demonstrating flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks; - Identifying and addressing client needs; - Communicating in an organized and knowledgeable manner in written and verbal formats, including delivering clear requests for information and communicating potential conflicts; - Managing client engagements relating to the creation of business processes and solutions, including one or more of the following areas for IoT requirements analysis, strategy, design, implementation, operations and application/business integration; - Conducting quantitative and qualitative analyses of large and complex data; and; - Contributing to project planning, engagement administration, budget management, and successful completion of engagement workstream(s). - Working with one or more IoT platform or technology doing functional configuration and/or technical development; and, - Designing, building, testing and deploying an IoT solution(s).
