Systems Administrator, Mid

Key Role:

Maintain responsibility for the operation and maintenance of servers, big data repositories, and Snort or Bro intrusion detection sensors. Design and develop systems and procure future hardware architectures. Maintain responsibility for the system development life cycle of software packages. Maintain and operate DCOD databases, application servers, and Web server systems. Design, develop, maintain, operate, and deploy tactical hardware packages. Maintain responsibility for STIG and IAVA compliance of the DCOD systems and software tool development, as required. Maintain responsibility for system administration, system and software problem isolation, system and application programming, and user-level system IT support.

Basic Qualifications:

-3+ years of experience with system administration in a Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment

-3+ years of experience with TCP/IP

-3+ years of experience with Rack and Stack hardware

-TS/SCI clearance required

-HS diploma or GED required

-Cybersecurity Analyst (CSA+) or Security+ and Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) Certifications required

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience in working with Dell R730 servers

-Experience with scripting or programming in Shell, Perl, C#, PHP, PowerShell, or Python

-Experience with Windows Server 2012 R2

-Experience with Splunk and ELK

-BA or BS degree
