Aetna Business Project Program Manager in Hartford, Connecticut

Dynamic position on the Clinical Platform Shared Services team supporting the implementation of a new Care Management system within Aetna to support our new Care Model. This will afford you a unique situation to influence Aetna's new care model and it's supporting technology. You will be a part of the team building the new platform and migrating membership from legacy platforms to the new clinical platform for all lines of business, markets and geographies. Candidate must possess a proven track record in project management, and experience working within Agile methodology is a must. This is a fast-paced implementation, and applicants will be expected to participate in all quarterly Release Planning events.

Fundamental Components:

A proven track record implementing new business and technical capabilities.

Experience working on large scale innovative projects that use your creative and analytic skills to translate business needs into project outcomes.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills with various level of management.

Strategic thinker, that understands and can bring together the end to end healthcare concepts that result in improved member experiences.

Concise documentation of decisions, workflows, controls points, and business processes as reference to support approved project scope


Proven track record in meeting project milestones and negotiating for resources.

Proven negotiation skills.

Proven project management skills, and the ability to handle multiple concurrent assignments.


The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
