Java Application Developer, Senior

Key Role:

Design, develop, and maintain a decision support system that provides real time situational awareness of logistics activities throughout the Pacific. Work with team members in an Agile software development environment to elicit requirements from stakeholders, develop solutions in Java, and test deliverables. Work with subject matter experts to identify data sources and integrate data from these sources into the application. Develop rich, Web user interfaces using JavaScript and AJAX. Participate in design discussions and apply industry accepted design patterns. Develop system documentation and standard operating procedures for managing and maintaining the system.

Basic Qualifications:

-4+ years of experience with developing Web applications in Java

-2+ years of experience with JavaScript, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), and AJAX

-Experience with Structured Query Language (SQL)

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with Spring MVC and Spring Web Flow, including MyBatis, Rich Faces, or Google Mapping Services

-Experience with Eclipse IDE

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-CompTIA Security+ Certification within 30 days of hire
