  • The ASA Manager would be responsible for leading the teams of associates, seniors and team leaders and handling client service delivery for a particular geography, area or specialization. The principal objectives will be to ensure that consistent, and high-quality service is provided by the team by taking end-to-end project ownership and accomplishing the define goals.

  • The incumbent should continually look for improvement and opportunities to add value, and follow a proactive approach. The individual will assist the management team in developing and coaching team members as wellas ensuring that resources are deployed in the most effective manner. While the individual will be based in our Gurgaon office, the role requires the person to travel to other countries on a short or long-term basis for client engagements.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Monitor operational measures (e.g. utilization, KPIs, Minimum commitment versus Actual hours transitioned)

  • Develop strong relationship with onshore stakeholders (SAIL’s, off shoring partners & Area’s leadership) and manage their expectations on service delivery

  • Promote internal communication between teams and assist them in driving change and reinforcing quality through developing & following proper protocols

  • Promote training and development of knowledge for the entire ASA GDS team through perform training need identification along with AM’s, TL’s with the help of knowledge champions

  • Develop succession planning, employee development and manage attrition in ASA GDS team.

  • Assist in the recruitment process of ASA resources (Associate, Sr. Associate, Team Lead & Assistant Manager)

  • Ensure coverage of rewards and recognition for the high performing associates

  • Set directions, mentor and guide team leaders & assistant managers to manage their own performance and of their teams and create pipeline of potential talent

  • Liaise with support functions like HR, L&D, Finance etc to adapt departmental plans and priorities to address business and operational challenges

  • Work with senior managers at GDS and Off shoring Program manager to look for more business growth opportunities & devise strategy to grow the scope of GDS ASA team

Technical skills requirements:

  • Excellent written, oral, presentation and facilitation skills including bi/multi-lingual skills for OCAs.

  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously through effective prioritization, organization, flexibility and self discipline.

  • Must have demonstrated project management experience.

  • Knowledge of firm’s account management and relationship tools and processes.

  • Proactive, organized and self-sufficient with ability to priorities and multitask.

  • Analyses complex or unusual problems and is able to deliver insightful and pragmatic solutions.

  • Ability to quickly and easily create/ gather/ manipulate/ analyze data from a variety of sources.

  • A robust and resilient disposition able to encourage discipline in team behaviors

Additional skills requirements :

  • 8+ years experience (and demonstrated competence, depth, and breadth) of operational and project management experience

  • 8+ years experience of people management, coaching and leveraging work through others

  • Total Work experience desired : 9 Years
