Humana Talent Acquisition Representative in Great Neck, New York

Description

SeniorBridge is seeking a detail-oriented individual with prior home care experience that is passionate about creating a positive onboarding experience in support of branch compliance.

Responsibilities

The Talent Acquisition Representative is responsible for carrying out the day to day onboarding and compliance training for new caregivers. The Talent Acquisition Representative partners with the Recruiter, Clinical Nurses and Branch Manager to ensure compliance during the onboarding process.

Dependent on the size of the branch, the Talent Acquisition Representative may be responsible for part or all of the following:

  • Ensures that all required pre-employment documentation is completed by prospective candidates per company hiring guidelines and accurately data enters the information into Rosalind

  • Schedules, coordinates and performs administrative portion of orientation for approved candidates

  • Data entry; all information for new paraprofessional hires into Rosalind and maintains the Associate’s physical employee file as appropriate

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma

  • 2 years Home Care scheduling/staffing/entry level recruitment experience

  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Working knowledge of computers, or a demonstrated technical aptitude and an ability to quickly learn new systems

  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred

  • Strong organizational skills; ability to balance multiple initiatives and prioritize workload

  • Proficient with Microsoft applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Prior experience or knowledge of DOH and CHRC preferred

  • Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Creole

Additional Information

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30AM-5PM

Language Proficiency Testing

Any Humana associate who speaks with a member in a language other than English must take a language proficiency assessment, provided by an outside vendor, to ensure competency. Applicants will be required to take the Interagency Language Rating (ILR) test as provided by the Federal Government
