Lockheed Martin Subcontract Management Staff in Grand Prairie, Texas

Description: MFC is seeking a Subcontract Manager for a position in Grand Prairie, TX to provide subcontract management support on the THAAD Program. This position represents the lead for a major subcontract.

Duties include: Key participation in the THAAD proposal preparation, proposal pre-work and post award execution working with Program Management to establish the initial expectations to be required from the Subcontractor.

Evaluating / Negotiating / Managing complex subcontracts (including those with Spec/SOW-driven requirements) to perform to the program’s specifications, quality, budget, schedule and earned value requirements. This will include the timely delivery of Hardware, SDRL’s (Subcontract Data Requirements List) or other deliverables required to fulfill the subcontract.

Work within a team environment, to manage Subcontractor cost, schedule and technical performance. Position will require Earned Value Management (EVM) monitoring and possibly Cost Account Management (CAM) responsibilities. This position will require travel.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be a US Citizen

Major Subcontract Management experience in a defense environment

Ability to work multiple tasks and deal with competing priorities in a fast paced environment

Excellent communication (verbal, written and presentation) skills

Ability to interface with multiple levels of management both internally and externally

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Strong negotiation skills

Microsoft Office Suite proficiency

Problem solving skills
