Title: Hardware Engineer (Displays)
Primary Location: Mexico (MX) - Nuevo León (MX-NLE) - Garza Garcia

You can expect the challenge of designing and testing complete electronic controls, displays and sensors and engines for equipment that operates under the roughest imaginable conditions.
What you´ll do?
*Lead and/or support requirements development, component verification and validation, system integration activities, part release processes and failure analysis as required for all phases of development
*Collaborate with or lead a cross-functional team to develop component and system level requirements, evaluate potential solutions and resolve interaction issues
*Support or perform modeling and simulation of the system or sub-system
*Participate in various design reviews such as component selection, vehicle schematic reviews, FMEAs, etc.
*Support vehicle level testing and diagnostic development of electronic components
*Support continuous improvement and warranty reduction activities of electronics by completing failure analysis, analyzing warranty claims, and supporting corrective actions.
What it takes?
*2 or more years of product engineering experience.
*Experience working on a cross-functional team.
*Excellent problem solving skills, including strong written and verbal communication.
*Experience with electronic design tools, such as: schematic generation and circuit simulation, and equipment including, but not limited to; oscilloscopes, multimeters, and function generators.
*Competency in requirements definition and development processes.
*Experience with communication protocols, such as, Ethernet, CAN, LIN, SPI, etc.
*Technical experience with electronic parts (i.e., integrated circuits, microcontrollers, etc).
*Competency with circuit analysis, schematic design and review, electronics testing and manufacturing.
*Experience with diagnostics and troubleshooting of electronic components at the component and vehicle level.
*Knowledge of or experience with Design for Six Sigma tools and methodologies.
*Support of development vehicles and experience with test sites.
*Understanding of low level software for microcontrollers and/or microprocessors.
*Knowledge of industry test standards (e.g., ISO, SAE, etc.).
Education (or equivalent experience):
*Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
