Sodexo, a world leader in quality of life services, is looking for a Strategic Sourcer - Senior Recruiter to join our award winning Talent Acquisition Group. The strategic sourcing team is focused on delivering innovative sourcing solutions for positions critical to the business and enhancing the Talent Acquisition department’s sourcing capabilities. This is a great opportunity to play a key role in developing a successful sourcing function and impact Sodexo’s key business initiatives by sourcing top talent. Our small but mighty sourcing team supports Sodexo’s 75+ recruiters that hire approximately 6000 management and executive staff per year across the USA.
As a Strategic Sourcer at Sodexo you will foster and cultivate relationships with key candidates and talent pools for just in time critical sourcing and strategic long-term pipeline development. You will be a key player in helping elevate and further enhance Sodexo’s sourcing capabilities and results. You will also serve as one of our Avature gurus at the administrator and expert user level driving Talent Acquisition user engagement. In this position, you will work virtually from a home office anywhere in the continental US.
Here are some of the key activities you will embark upon as Strategic Sourcer:
Project based sourcing –assigned to critical sourcing projects such as large new account openings
External candidate pipeline building for difficult to find skill sets.
Extensive diversity sourcing and outreach
Competitor matrixing, intelligence gathering, name generation and recruitment research.
Strategically approach and develop relationships with passive and hard to find talent. .
To be rock star successful in this role, you will need to have advanced skills in the following areas:
Developing sourcing strategies for difficult to fill and challenging positions
Internet and web tool sourcing utilizing advance filtering and Boolean search strings
Mining social media such as Linked In, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google+, Pinterest, , Quora, etc.
Advanced sourcing from organizations that are diversity or industry focused
Mapping out competitor org charts through Internet and phone research
Aggressively identifying Alumni of strategically identified universities and colleges
Actively cold calling and engaging passive candidates recruiting them into Sodexo positions
Importing candidates, tracking all sourcing activity and obtained information in the Avature CRM
The requirements checklist:
Proven ability to develop sourcing strategies that result in identifying, engaging and sourcing top quality passive and active candidates for difficult to fill and strategic positions
Can demonstrate the ability to learn and fully utilize new technology quickly and serve at the super user level in systems such as Avature or similar technically
Strong understanding of CRM systems such as Avature utilizing workflows, reporting and data mining techniques
Strong in Internet search – Boolean, Deep Web, Certified People Sourcer II, Sourcing Ninja / Boolean Black belt or AIRS CIR or higher cert like Advance CIR strongly preferred – and demonstrated experience using these skills to find candidates
Highly proficient in navigating the internet from a researcher perspective
Technically savvy - quickly able to pick up new recruiting tools, databases, websites and social media
Proven ability to source passive candidates by cold calling into competitors or like companies
A strong background in the sourcing function within a recruiting organization and a passion for sourcing and search
Ability to work independently, prioritize and manage multiple projects / tasks on a regular basis

Handles all aspects of the recruiting process including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and recommending candidates for placement in exempt and nonexempt positions. May recruit some executive level employees. May be involved in some college and professional/technical recruiting. Administers entire employment process including Career Center, testing, references, offer letters, etc. May assist line managers with the placement of employment advertising and related duties. Develops and implements hiring forecast for assigned area. May travel extensively. May supervise one or more Recruiters.
Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years of experience in positions that include recruiting and filling positions
