Lockheed Martin Subcontract Mgmt Stf in Fort Worth, Texas
Responsible for leadership and management of a strategic Major System supplier as well as leading a team of procurement professionals in a team lead role. Lead strategic contracting efforts with assigned Major System supplier. Includes multiple facets of supplier management, including purchase order placement and administration in support of F-35 Program Supply Chain Management (SCM) Sustainment organization. Duties include negotiations, documentation, purchase order maintenance and interface with functional organizations and domestic/international supplier management. The selected candidate will develop and execute long term supply chain sustainment strategies, implement and execute various Fixed Price and Cost Type contracts and specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services. Prepares solicitations based on various sustainment proposal efforts, analyzes and evaluates proposals, negotiates subcontract provisions, selects or recommends subcontractors, writes awards, establishes internal/external business rhythms for supply chain performance activities, and administers resulting subcontracts. Negotiates and coordinates additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts. Participates with contracts administration and purchasing to develop subcontract policies and procedures. Will mentor/lead less experienced procurement professionals.
Basic Qualifications -Subcontract management and/or negotiation skills and/or project management experience -Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
Desired skills -Sustainment procurement and/or Sustainment Logistics background -Ability to coach, mentor early career buyers -Ability to lead supplier engagements at Executive levels -Understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARs) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS) -Previous experience in negotiating proposals that met the Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA) threshold -Knowledge of performance based contracting -Ability to coach and mentor other less experienced personnel -Excellent Business acumen and ability to make business based decisions - Demonstrated working knowledge of Systems, Applications and Processes (SAP) -Ability to engage internal/supplier senior executives as necessary to resolve issues -Excellent communication (verbal, written, and presentation) skills -Strong Problem solving skills -Self motivated and demonstrated sense of urgency -Ability to work independently and in a team environment -Ability to work with all levels of management -Must be a US Citizen or legally authorized to work in US as a permanent resident. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
